Fire Broke out in Food Court of Popular Shopping Mall Islamabad
A fire broke out in the food court of a popular shopping mall in Islamabad. However, as rescuers raced to the scene, the blaze was quickly brought "under control."
After videos appeared on social media platforms, the chief commissioner of the capital stated that the fire had been contained and that the cooling process had begun.
Islamabad Police said in a statement that people were saved and safely evacuated from the mall's backdoor, which was covered in smoke after the fire.
The police said that neither a person nor a business had been hurt in the search, that the mall's fire had been put out, and that a helicopter had also been called in.
Later, the Islamabad Police stated that the building would be sealed following the completion of the rescue operation on the orders of the deputy commissioner.
In addition, the mall's building would remain sealed until an investigation was conducted. Public access to the building would remain restricted until then.
