Prince Harry, whose full name is Henry Charles Albert David, was born on September 15, 1984, in London, England. He is the younger son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, and is sixth in line to the British throne. He has an older brother, Prince William, who is second in line to the throne.
As a child, Prince Harry attended the Wetherby School and later the Ludgrove School. He then attended Eton College, where he studied a variety of subjects, including art and drama. After completing his studies at Eton, he spent a gap year traveling and working in Australia and Africa.
In 2005, Prince Harry joined the British Army, where he trained as an officer. He was eventually commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and served in the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals. In 2007, he was sent to Iraq as a part of a peacekeeping mission, but he was pulled out after a news leak revealed his presence there. After leaving the army in 2015 he started to work on mental health charities and Invictus games that are games created for disabled veterans.
In 2011, Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, a former American actress, and the couple have a son named Archie Harrison. In January 2020, they announced their decision to step back from their roles as senior members of the royal family, and to divide their time between the United Kingdom and North America. In 2021 they officially announced they will not return to their senior role in Royal Family and they have been living in California and started various business ventures.
